Northwestern Mutual Appoints Courtney Reynolds to Vice President of Communications and Corporate Affairs

MILWAUKEE, May 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwestern Mutual today announced the appointment of Courtney Reynolds to vice president – communications and corporate affairs. Effective May 8, 2017, Reynolds will assume her new title and responsibilities to advance the company's external and internal communications strategy.

Reynolds joined Northwestern Mutual in August 2015 as vice president – corporate communications, leading teams responsible for media and public relations, strategic communications, issues management, corporate engagement and creative solutions.

Prior to Northwestern Mutual, she served as director of communications at Exelis Inc. (now Harris Corporation), a Fortune 500 aerospace, homeland security and defense company. She has more than two decades of corporate and agency experience spanning multiple industries. Along with overseeing internal and external communications, she has held senior strategic planning and business development roles for global B2C and B2B companies.

Reynolds holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in French from the University of Virginia as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration from Stevens Institute of Technology. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and an active member of Public Relations Society of America, serving as a past chair of the Corporate Communications Section, and as a Future Leader within the Arthur W. Page Society.
