MILWAUKEE, Feb. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- A truly remarkable career goes beyond work in the office, which is why Northwestern Mutual recognizes its financial professionals who invest in improving their communities through volunteerism. Through its Foundation, Northwestern Mutual is honoring the commitment of these individuals through its annual Community Service Awards program. The company will celebrate these dedicated volunteers with $295,000 in grants.

  • An additional winner in each of the four regions has been recognized as Most Exceptional and has received $25,000 for his or her organization.
  • Three of this year's winners are receiving an additional $5,000 for volunteering with an organization focused on childhood cancer given its alignment to the company's national philanthropic cause.
