MILWAUKEE, July 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Leslie Barbi, senior vice president and head of public investments at Northwestern Mutual, has been selected as a 2018 Women Worth Watching honoree by Profiles in Diversity Journal.

Now in its 17th year, the annual Women Worth Watching award recognizes women in leadership worldwide, who represent and drive diversity within their spheres of influence.

She also plays an integral role in numerous internal committees to advance the company's strategy and culture as well as serving in several external leadership roles, such as the Froedtert Health Investment Committee and the United Performing Arts Fund Board. Barbi is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Fixed Income Forum.
Barbi holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago.
