Northwestern Mutual extends its support to families and businesses affected by Hurricane Florence. Northwestern Mutual and Northwestern Long Term Care are reinstating any individual life, DI, and LTC policies which lapsed due to non-payment of premium since September 17, 2018 affecting payers in these North Carolina counties: Beaufort, Bladen, Brunswick, Carteret, Columbus, Craven, Cumberland, Duplin, Harnett, Hoke, Hyde, Johnston, Jones, Lee, Lenoir, Moore, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico, Pender, Pitt, Richmond, Roberson, Sampson, Scotland, Wayne and Wilson. In addition, we will suppress lapse notices and prevent lapse of life, DI, and LTC policies with payers in these counties due to non-payment of premium until December 19, 2018, as required by North Carolina’s Department of Insurance.
