MILWAUKEE, Sept. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Women seeking innovative, real-world advice on how to reach their full potential – personally, professionally and financially – will find inspiration from the multi-city tour hosted by Northwestern Mutual, Inspiring Leaders: The Power of You, Oct. 5-7.
This year's tour brings together a panel of dynamic women leaders who will discuss such topics as defining success, finding an authentic leadership style, financial empowerment and work-life balance. The Power of You tour was launched last year in response to the increasing role women are playing – professionally, at home and in society, overall – and the ongoing need to ensure equal opportunities for women to succeed continue to exist. According to a recent study* conducted by Northwestern Mutual and Forbes Insights, the majority of women feel confident they can attain their life goals, but only 27 percent believe they will achieve their financial goals.
The tour panelists include:
- Beth Rodenhuis – Senior vice president of field strategy and services for Northwestern Mutual.
- Alexa von Tobel – Founder and CEO of LearnVest; New York Times best-selling author of Financially Fearless.
- Moira Forbes – Executive vice president of Forbes Media; publisher of ForbesWoman.
Kimberley Goode, vice president of communications at Northwestern Mutual, will moderate the panel discussions.
"Northwestern Mutual is delighted to host our third tour for women leaders who are passionate about achieving their financial goals and realizing their full potential in all aspects of their lives," said Rodenhuis. "We believe that when inspiring women come together to engage and connect, there is nothing we can't accomplish."
Inspiring Leaders: The Power of You will bring together local businesses and leaders in the following cities:
- Boca Raton, Fla. – Oct. 5
- Tampa, Fla. – Oct. 5
- Nashville, Tenn. – Oct. 6
- New Orleans, La. – Oct. 6
- Baltimore, Md. – Oct. 7
Northwestern Mutual is committed to promoting leadership and empowering women to succeed.
